Jury Duty SUCKS...
I show up for jury duty yesterday and now I am in a jury pool of 30 people, and though they are goign to eliminate 18 of us, I fear I am going to be one of the remaing 12.  Not bad but it is a murder trial (can't say more due to court order) and I am looking at being there for up to 2 weeks or more.  I think were it not for having a new baby, it wouldn't be so bad, but geeze...

Wow, I have never been called to do jury duty and man how much it would suck for the one time to be a damn murder case. I suppose such is the rules of our democracy but that doesn't mean we can't raise our right to free speech in the same line. Good luck with the duty and I hope that your work has a compensation to make missing the 2 weeks of work.

Mostly I was referring to the fact that I would not want to do a murder case even though jury duty is a civic duty but I would express displeasure with it being a civic duty in an arena of free speech, namely, this journal.

Yea, no loss in wages, but I was dismissed today so I am happy since I get my days off with Khy. They didn't want me since I prefer the death penalty and this was a sentencing trial, the person had already been found guilty, but not my responsibility now.
